To update your profile picture:
Open Microsoft Teams (free).
Tip: For Chat in Windows 11, select the Open Teams
button.Select your profile picture towards the top.
Select your profile picture again. From there you can:
Upload picture. You will be taken to your saved files to choose a photo.
Remove picture. Remove your current profile photo.
To update your account name:
Select your profile picture towards the top.
Select your current display name.
Select Edit name.
Update your account name, then select Save.
Note: When you update your account name here, it will update your Microsoft account.
To update your account name in Microsoft Teams (free) for Windows 11:
From Chat in Windows 11, select the Open Teams
button.Select your profile picture towards the top.
Next to your current display name, select the edit
button.Update your account name, then select Save.
Note: When you update your account name here, it will update your Microsoft account.
To manage your account:
Note: This is not currently available in Microsoft Teams (free) for Windows 11.
Select Settings and more
near your profile picture.Select Settings
.Select Accounts, then select the Manage button, and you will be taken to your Microsoft account page.
